Today’s my last day in the office I’ve spent the last 11 or so years in. My work’s moving the day after we get back from Paris so I’ve spent the past couple of days packing up.
My office in our new location is going to be smaller, much darker, and all around crappier. Aside from daylight, the thing I’m going to miss the most is my wallpaper.
I pretty much destroyed it while taking down my photos. (Tip: that blue putty stuff is totally not wallpaper friendly.) But I take an odd consolation in knowing that if I can’t have it, no one can.
That sucks that you are downgrading office space-wise. I guess you’ll have to get creative to make the space more enjoyable, like you did with that wall of pictures. Very neat btw!
