• I must admit, the iPad is pretty awesome for reading comics. Just read all The Walking Dead, thinking Night Owls is next. Suggestions? #

• Working from home with the windows open and a sleeping kitten on my lap. #

It’s been a pretty entertaining few days at our place getting to know Poppy. She’s doing really well, totally unfazed by the plane trip and her new surroundings. She’s got a lot of personality for such a little cat (did I mention she’s unbelievably TINY?), she’s very playful, smart, social, and snuggly. When she’s not sleeping, she’s tearing around the apartment at full speed—and her sleep-to-play ratio is probably about 1.5:1.

Because what the internet really needs is more cat photos, here are a couple I managed to snap in the rare moments she’s still.

See that slightly stunned-looking but super adorable wrinkly little kitten? She’s our kitten-to-be. We’ll be bringing her home next Thursday and I couldn’t be happier. Expect to hear a lot more about her from here on out.
